What I've been up to

I haven't been very active lately because of projects, school work and other personal reasons, so I thought I'd post a little update on what I've been doing and what I'm planning to do now that It's all over and done with.

Recently, I've been focusing on schoolwork and class projects a lot more than I usually do, and I guess that's a good thing. It's right near the end of the year, so everyone is getting ready for final projects and Finals... well, except me. I never study... =__=;;
I've decided to send in pictures of my desk and workspace as submissions for OTACOOL 3: worldwide workspaces, after I clean up a bit. Afterwords, I'll post the pictures here too, so you guys can see.
Other than that, I haven't done much lately, other than some shopping. But that's a story for another post which should be up soon.

Well, that's it. My next post will be up fairly soon, where I'll show you my April to mid-May loot (^_- )

Live alive Mikuru

So, I picked up this Mikuru EX2 live alive figure at last year's Anime North and I thought that I should finally post a few pictures of her. I like the figure, but the quality is not that great and the seams could be better. But overall, not a bad figure. I don't have much else to say, so this post will be mostly pictures.

I'm really new to figure photoshoots, so be nice please (^_^;;)

New iPod ♥

I am very happy. Totally unexpectedly, My mom gave me her iPod touch. Free. Mind Blown. So naturally, I have been completely obsessing over it for the past week. (Sorry for the awful quality, I have a lot to learn.)

There's the case, which my mom graciously gave up to me along with my iPod. It has the apple logo sticker plastered on it. Oh how painfully original. It is a pretty awesome case though, with a magnetic strap and all.

My baby!!! ( = v =) She's so beautiful~~~ She's a 3G though, so she was a pain to Jailbreak. However, she's got 32 gigs in her, so I can't stay too mad. I've already loaded her up with apps and videos.

I ordered a pack of 8 styluses for the many art and drawing apps I put on her, But they still haven't arrived. One thing I want to buy though, is a charging dock, But I have yet to see any in stores. Or maybe I just haven't paid close enough attention to notice them. After this, I really want to play around with a iPad, just to see what it's like compared to the iPod touch..

I'm sick

It's the last day of the weekend and I caught a cold =_=u . On Friday I woke up with an unbearable sore throat and it escalated into a full-out cold, complete with aching body and high fever.

Luckily, This means I'll get to skip school tomorrow (including gym) and have more time to work on my English project. My bed-ridden state will also give more time to work on some drawings I've been meaning to finish, and hopefully I can fill out my sketchbook at bit more before I go back to school.

Went out and bought some books...

I finally went out to chapters today, something I had been putting off for a long time, and bought some books on Web Design, CSS, and HTML. They looked pretty awesome, plus they were cheap (only $17 each)

I'm fairly interested in Web design, and I'm thinking about pursuing it as a future career option. I've also been putting off actually learning css and html, so I went out and got these books. They are CSS, HTML, and Web Design in easy steps by Mike McGrath and Richard Quick. They all look pretty interesting, and are certainly easy to understand, But I have the feeling I'm gonna have to go back and get another one for css and html that's more advanced.

So It's Easter once again. Is it just me or did it come really fast this year?

In my family, we hard-boil eggs and colour them the night before so the "Easter bunny" can hide them. Then we gat up and me and my little sister go and find them plus some small chocolate eggs. We also get presents from the "Easter bunny", which are those big character chocolate things and a small chocolate bunny. Then afterwords we go to my grandma's house for dinner with the family. Do you have any special customs for Easter?

Hello! This is my first post, and I don't really know what to say. Before this, I've just been messing around with the template ( ;;^_^)

So you can call me Kila, I guess. I've been an otaku for about 2 years now, but I'm also interested in art, drama, design and languages. In the future I'll be posting Anime-related things like reviews, galleries and merchandise, Art-related stuff, and some random junk thrown in too. This is my first blog, so I hope you like it!
